Requirements
Essential Duties
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments
- Conduct legal research and analyze issues, including chains of title and tax matters
- Prepare for dockets and represent clients in court appearances in Harris and surrounding counties
- Collaborate with staff on collection and litigation activities
- Communicate with clients, taxpayers, and opposing counsel
- Participate in business development, including networking events and statewide conferences

- Effectively manage a large caseload
- Identify and analyze complex issues
- Provide research that is thorough and responsive to issue at hand
- Write in an organized, clear, and concise manner
- Work in a supervisory position
