Firm firm seeking a contract attorney to do American Arbitration Association (AAA) arbitration cases related to B2B disputes focused on collection of funds due/withheld in behalf of petitioners/claimants.   These cases are generally moderately challenging and some are somewhat complex.   Seeking an enthusiastic lawyer who can work independently and is capable of full charge and full cycle completion of cases from inception to settlement or award.  This includes understanding AAA rules, procedures, discovery, fees, etc. and as needed the completion and filing of forms, settlements, arbitration demands and briefs, etc. These are primarily contract disputes where funds are withheld from our claimants and where respondents always pay off awards against it.  Some cases may have an ordinary intellectual property issue.  Be a self-starter, producing good work efficiently and prior experience helpful. Be able to communicate, keep records, research, write, manage clients, telecommute and appear virtually at arbitration proceedings.  Have a J.D. degree, be admitted to practice and have some experience in litigation and/or arbitration.  This is a contract position with five figure income or more possible with some volume.  Start and scale up in volume possible. Compensation variable arrangements: flat fee per case, hourly, etc.  Please send a cover letter and/or resume, a short writing sample and a list of references.
